Clay and concrete tile repair, restoration, and replacement — and when a storm breaks tiles on an older roof, we work to source matching tile, including discontinued profiles, so the repair doesn’t stand out. A structural weight check is part of every tile project.
Tile is a different kind of roof
Tile can outlast almost everything else on a Texas roof — but it plays by its own rules. The tiles themselves may be fine for 50+ years while the underlayment beneath them wears out decades sooner. And a tile roof should only be walked by people who know how, because careless foot traffic breaks more tile than most storms do.
What we do
- Storm and breakage repair — replacing cracked or slipped tiles, matched to your existing profile and color as closely as sourcing allows.
- Underlayment restoration — lifting and preserving your tile, replacing the aged underlayment beneath, and re-laying the roof. You keep the look; the roof gets a new waterproof core.
- Full tile replacement — new clay or concrete systems, with the structural weight assessment done before anything is ordered.
- Insurance documentation — hail fractures on tile can be subtle; we photograph and document every one, and meet your adjuster on-site if you file a claim.
Why the weight check matters
Concrete and clay tile are heavy — several times the weight of shingles. Homes designed for tile carry it fine, but before any new tile roof or material change we confirm your structure is rated for the load. That check is included, not an add-on.
